Spread the Warmth Blank Drive ~ Let's all make in impact & help keep a homeless child warm this winter

November is National Homeless Awareness Month

As many of you know I serve on the board of HomeAid which is a local non-profit organization that's mission is to build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach. An initiative that we are running from now until November 19th is "Spread the Warmth". It is a blanket drive so we can partner with local shelter providers to help keep those that are homeless warm this winter as the temperatures drop. One blankt makes in huge impact on one person & if we call chip in one then the ripple effect can be truly wonderful.

There will be drop off locations in Placer & Sacramento County to make it easy to participate.

The main drop off location will be at the HomeAid office which is at: 1536 Eureka Road in Roseville.

My office will be a drop off location as well at:                     1430 Blue Oaks Blvd. #110 Roseville, CA 95747

If you are intersted in helping please email me at: Colin.Roe@fnf.com -or- call at: 916.304.5355

"It is not enough to be compassionate. You must act. There are two aspects to action. One is to overcome the distortions and afflictions of your own mind, that is, in terms of calming and eventually dispelling anger. This is action out of compassion. The other is more social, more public. When something needs to be done in the world to rectify the wrongs, if one is really concerned with benefiting others, one needs to be engaged, involved." ~ Dalai Lama
