Motivational Monday #289: Clutter Removal

 

Clutter outside of us in our environment is one thing thing that can slow us down for sure. The clutter I want to address is the clutter that can build up in our heads & our hearts. These types of clutter can really effect who we are and how we show up personally or professionally. 

Addressing the clutter is not easy by any means, but not addressing it leads to it being even harder. Some things can be handled by simply writing them down so they can live somewhere other than inside of you. Some of them are more complexed in the head & the heart so that is double. Getting a game plan together (and that can be with you or with help) can help you remove some clutter. Once we start in we sometimes will find out that there was more clutter than we first though; don't let that burden you. Remind yourself that as your deal with, walk through or remove clutter in relieves you of the weight of what it was or may still be.  

Removing clutter isn't something that needs to be done in a day in one swoop; I adhere to the though of progress, not perfection. Do something. A lot...a little or somewhere in between. When there is less clutter, there is more room for light to shine in.
